Today, I'm here to write about the importance of friends in our lives. Weren't you going to write a series on the seven deadly sins, John? Well, I've just changed my mind.

It is essential that a man have friends in his life. No one was made to live by themselves. It is of the utmost importance that no person live by themselves. And that's why friends exist - to make life more colorful and full of joy.

One might say he does not like meeting people and making friends because maybe he's been so disappointed in them. But I'll tell you what. After you become friends with someone, it's your duty to love them and be there for them, no matter what. Oh what if they disappoint you? Well, friends are just like family - after you got them, you can't choose anymore. If your mother does something that upsets you, will you stop loving her or at least talking to her? I mean, some people do it, but it is not the right thing to do. Many of my friends have done things that really got me down, but what did I do? Did I isolate myself from them? Did I just forget them and all the good times we had spent together? No, sir, I didn't. I didn't because I'm not expected to give up on my friends, but to forgive and to keep being their friend.
Can you imagine if you would just stop talking to everyone who upsets you? I mean, probably the best thing to do would be to move to another planet because there's nothing you can do to avoid being hurt by someone. This happens due to human unpredictability which causes curious things to occur. So all you have to do is love your friends and love making friends because although they might disappoint you one day, it is more likely that they will be there to help you in time of need.
